I sold my ALTO LXI car bearing registration number KA09P2184(RTO ,Mysore West , Karnataka) on 27th February 2022 to Olx Auto India car dealer, all the formalities were completed and the value of the car was also paid to me online, all the original documents(including RC, insurance, and key were also handed over to the representative of OLX Auto. By the time all the necessary documents with the owner’s signature were collected for transferring the ownership and RC to the new owner by the representative Mr.Jibin Mathew of OLX Auto. Now it is going to complete 2 years after the sale and still no communication from OLX auto regarding the transfer of RC and in the RTO portal also shows the car is still in my name and recently I noticed from the Vahan portal the insurance has been renewed and the fitness certificate has not been done after completion of 15 years. This may be a serious problem for me if something happens who is going to take responsibility? Several times I contacted representatives of OlX Auto of Bangalore and initially they told me the car had not yet been sold and the vehicle was still in their yard, after that several times I contacted the customer care of OlX through the mail and phone call and there was no proper response and reply from them. Recently I noticed that the car has fined for a traffic violation at Shimoga, Karnataka, and a Chalan has been paid in the name of Driver Mr. Amjad for violating traffic rule. Recently Mysore west, Karnataka RTO has made the car under blacklist for the reason of non transferring of RC and not renewal of FC of the vehicle
I sold the vehicle to Olx Auto and they were not taking any responsibility to transfer RC to new owner and do the fitness certificate, I have no contacting number of new owner of the vehicle and OLX auto not shared any information about the sale of the vehicle and details of new owner. Kindly request to help legally regarding the above matter and do further move for making the RC transfer process of the vehicle.
