I am writing this review as a former PGDM student of Lexicon MILE Pune because I feel students and parents should know the reality before taking admission. When I was searching online I did not find honest reviews, so I am sharing my Lexicon MILE student experience here.
First of all, infrastructure is very poor for a PGDM institute. Lexicon MILE operates from a 4 storey building which is shared with Hotel Management kitchens and a Graphic Design institute. There is no proper dedicated PGDM campus. Classrooms feel temporary and congested. Many times noise and movement from other institutes disturb lectures. This is not the kind of infrastructure shown during admission counselling or promised on phone.
Second biggest issue is lack of faculty at Lexicon MILE. During my time, especially around 2023–2025, there were hardly 4 regular professors available for PGDM. Many subjects were either delayed or taken by visiting or temporary people. Often students were confused who the real professors are. For a PGDM institute this is unacceptable. Most of the time there was no academic seriousness and professors were more busy chatting with students outside campus than teaching properly.
Third, from my experience Lexicon MILE feels more like an admission business than an education institute. Entire focus is on taking maximum admissions every year. After fees is paid, there is very little concern for student future, academics or career growth. Compared to institutes like Symbiosis, MIT, DY Patil or Sinhagad, Lexicon MILE does not have academic depth or leadership credibility.
Placements are highly misleading. What they show during admission is not what happens in reality. In my batch (PGDM 2023), there were almost no real campus placements. Whatever placements happened were mostly low paying sales or agent roles. Highest package in my batch was around ₹25,000 per month, that too in loan or insurance selling roles. There were no corporate roles matching PGDM expectations. This is a major reason students feel cheated.
Location is another big problem. Lexicon MILE is located in Wagholi, which is extremely far and traffic situation is terrible. Daily commute can take 3–5 hours depending on where you stay in Pune. There is no student-friendly ecosystem nearby. This is never clearly explained during admission discussions.
Quality of students is also very poor, because admission criteria is almost non-existent. Many students in my batch were not serious about studies, had poor English communication, and had joined only for timepass or social reasons. This affects classroom quality badly. Serious students suffer because of this environment.
Finally, what Lexicon MILE advertises and what admission counsellors say on phone is very different from reality. Infrastructure, faculty strength, placements, industry exposure – everything is exaggerated. Once you take admission, reality slowly comes out.
My honest advice:
Please do deep research before joining Lexicon MILE PGDM. Talk to current students, visit multiple times, and do not believe only marketing calls or brochures. From my personal experience, Lexicon MILE is not worth the money or time for PGDM.
I am writing this so other students do not make the same mistake I did.
